Our House Rules
- •Check-in: 3 PM | Check-out: 11 AM. We are happy to discuss early or late options based on availability.
- •A replacement fee applies for lost or unreturned keys to help us maintain property security.
- •We welcome registered guests with valid photo ID. Children above 6 years are hosted per homestay policy; those above 12 are considered adults.
- •To honor the mountain’s peace, we kindly observe quiet hours from 9:30 PM to 7 AM. We appreciate your humility and consideration for fellow guests.
- •Help us keep our Himalayan home beautiful: please use the dustbins provided and avoid littering in the house or the surrounding nature.
- •Our homestay reserves the right to ensure a peaceful environment by asking guests to adhere to these shared values.
- •For your peace of mind, please contact our staff for secure storage of valuables; personal items remain the guest's responsibility.
- •To keep our mountain air fresh and pure, we maintain a non-smoking interior. Should the room require specialized deep-cleaning due to smoke, a restorative service fee will be added to your bill.
- •Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout your stay. Passwords will be shared upon your arrival.
- •The mountains are unpredictable! We recommend carrying warm layers, rain gear, and sturdy trekking shoes for your comfort.
- •We kindly invite you to dress in a way that reflects the modest and soulful spirit of the Kumaon hills while in our common areas.
- •For everyone's safety, hazardous materials, weapons, or explosives are strictly prohibited.
- •Savor authentic Kumaoni flavors with our fixed local menu. As our kitchen sources fresh ingredients daily, please share any special dietary requests as early as possible so we can prepare with love.
- •While we love animals, we cannot host outside pets as our four resident dogs are the designated 'Welcome Committee'.
- •We trust our guests to treat our home with care; any accidental damage to property will be the guest's responsibility.
- •To maintain a clean and safe environment, hookah, sheesha, or similar items are not permitted.
- •Your comfort is our priority—please share feedback or report any issues immediately so we can make it right.
- •To preserve the serene and spiritual energy of Pailaag, we encourage a mindful atmosphere. We trust our guests to keep their private celebrations quiet, discreet, and respectful of the shared peace.
- •Respect the local ecosystem: please protect our flora and fauna and avoid disturbing the natural wildlife.
- •To maintain our high standards of hygiene and allergen-free comfort, our linens are curated for indoor use only. We kindly ask that they remain within your room and are not intended for outdoor usage.
